How is my vehicle repaired?
During this whole process you will be kept up to date and fully informed.
The following outlines the entire repair process, from the delivery of the vehicle to our premises, to the final inspection and vehicle collection.
- Vehicle driven or towed to Bendigo Accident Repair Centre.
- Our estimators will examine your vehicle and prepare an itemised quote
(subject to unseen damage).
- Once repairs are approved your vehicle is scheduled for repair.
At this point we order all parts required to avoid any delays.
- Your vehicle is fully dismantled.
It is then inspected by our Workshop Manager for unseen damage.
- Vehicle is repaired to manufacturer specifications.
It is again inspected by our Workshop Manager before progressing to one of our paint preparation bays.
- Your vehicle is then prepared for the refinish process in one of our two state of the art baking ovens.
- Vehicle is painted. At Bendigo Accident Repair Centre we use the industry leading PPG Global Refinishing System. Visit our Industry Links tab for more information.
- Bendigo Accident Repair Centre will conduct a quality inspection of the workmanship before assembly is conducted by our experienced assemblers.
- After your vehicle has been reassembled it is washed, subject to water restrictions, and undergoes a final quality inspection of the workmanship.
- Once your car has passed our final inspection you will be contacted by one of our friendly administration staff to arrange pick up or delivery.
